Suzanne Dmello Biography 
Suzanne D'Mello is a successful playback singer of Indian cinema. She is most known for fast tracks and collaborated with Rahman in numerous compositions. She sings for Hindi as well as south Indian languages. A few of her top songs include – Bachhu of Gajani (Hindi), Mahiya for Awaarapan, Jee Karda from Singh Is Kinng and Meow from Golmaal Returns. "Hosannah" from "Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya" and "Nalamdhana" from 'Silambattam' are her popular Tamil songs. She has also sung "Latika's Theme" and "Dreams On Fire" for Rahman’s Slumdog millionaire. She has also penned lyrics for a few Hindi movies like – Veer, Apna Sapna Money Money and Main Aurr Mrs Khanna. She has worked with almost all directors of the industry from Ilaiyaraaja to latest Pritam and Vishal-Shekhar. In Bollywood, she has sung about 50 songs.
Suzanne debut Bollywood in the year 2006 with the song "Khalish" from the film 'Chocolate'. Music director was Pritam. But her big break happened two years later with the chartbuster song, Mahiya for the movie, Awarapan. She received her First nomination at the Stardust Awards in 2008 for this wonderful song. It was followed by a string of hits for the movies, Gajani, Golmaal returns, Hello, Bhagam bhag, Pyar ke side effects and Singh Is Kinng. It was followed by songs of Race, Ahoo Ahoo song of Love aaj kal, Slum dog millionaire, Blue, Dil bole hadippa, Wanted, Life partner, Kites and Kal kisne dekha. Chiggy Wiggy of Blue and Bhangra Bistar of Dil bole hadippa are a couple of noted songs.
She got opportunity to sing with international star, Kylie Minogue for the Chiggie Wiggie song. Suzanne loves to perform in live shows and has been performing so for the last 17 years. She has performed live with many leading music fraternities like A. R. Rahman and Usha Uthup.
