Sushmita Mangsatabam Biography 
Sushmita Mangsatabam is a popular actress, singer and musician from the state of Manipur. She plays guitar and painting is her hobby. She started singing at the age of thirteen, and later established her name in music world. She is a successful playback singer too. Most recently in 2018 she won best singer award at Sahitya Seva Samiti (SSS) MANIFA Awards for the song Thabum Kaya Yamlakley from the film Khutsha Ani. As a film actress she is associated with Manipuri cinma since 2012. Leichilda Pallaba Thaja, Shiki Ibobi, Thabaton 3, Laijalembi, Amuktang-ga Haikho and Laija are her most recent releases.
Sushmita Mangsatabam hails from Luwangsangbam Awang Leikai, Manipur. She started singing at the age of thirteen while studying at 7th grade. She doesn’t belong to a family with art or singing background, and she is the first person to take singing and acting as profession. Sushmita established herself as a leading singer in independent music before joining films, and acting offers came later only. Now she is a successful film star also.
She is best known for the popular songs such as Noklunu Minokto Atoppa Kanada, Ningjaba Mana Nungshiba Mana, Leiraroidara Khallui Taibangsida, Ningthou Machasu Kallakte etc, and has a huge fan following crowd. As a film actress, she got her big break through Bijgupta Laishram’s hit Thabaton, and there was no turning back after that. She marked her acting debut with the film released in 2012 playing the titular role, and was later seen in movies - Chow Chow Momo na haobara Shingju Bora na oinambara, Lanngamba, Leiyisigee Wangmada, Amukta Ani etc, playing lead and parallel lead roles.
