Surjit Saha Biography

Surjit Saha is a noted television actor associated with Hindi entertainment industry. He is best known for playing the character Agent Q in Badi Door Se Aaye Hai aired on SAB TV. He is also a successful model who has done several print shoots for newspapers like The Telegraph (Calcutta) and Sakalbela. He is to play the lead in a Pakistani show named Hum Dono, and it’s his first show outside India. Thapki Pyar Ki and Chandrakanta (2017) on Colors TV are his other television works.

Saha hails from Kolkata and is of Bengali origin, though he is associated with Hindi television shows. He has one elder brother. He started his career as a fashion stylist and later took up modelling as his career. He has done several photo shoots for print ad, apart from a few TV commercials such as Bajaj Allianz General Insurance and digital media modelling for MTV style check. In 2014 he made his acting debut with the TV show, Chidiya Ghar, followed by Thapki Pyaar Ki. He gained recognition through his third television role, Badi Door Se Aaye Hai aired on SAB TV during 2015-2016.

His character role as Agent Q for the show was well appreciated, and very soon he bagged his first Pakistani TV series in a lead role in 2016. The show has been delayed for some reason. It’s the story of an Indian guy who travels to Pakistan for the first time to fulfill his grandfather's last wish to meet his brother in Pakistan. Saha is also known for his social activities. He was most recently associated with Rise 2017 - a calendar spreading awareness for Parkinson's disease. Its aim was to raise donations for Hrishikesh's Centre of Contemporary Dance, for curing people affected with this disease.
