Surilie Gautam Biography

Surilie Gautam is an Indian film and television actress associated with Hindi soap dramas. She is best known for playing the female lead in the popular TV soap, Meet Mila De Rabba. The show was aired on Sony TV in 2008-2009, and telecasted over 100 episodes. Her father Mukesh Gautam is an Indian film director who works predominantly in Punjabi-language films, while her elder sister Yami Gautam is a well-established actress of Bollywood known for hit movies like Vicky Donor and Kaabil. Surilie has also acted in Power Cut, a 2012 Indian Punjabi romantic comedy film.

 

Surilie Gautam hails from a family of artists. Her father Mukesh Gautam is a well-known name of Punjabi cinema, while her elder sister Yami Gautam is a very successful model and actress who joined entertainment industry in the late 2000s. Her mother’s name is Anjali Gautam. She is married to Jasraj Singh Bhatti since 2013, the son of late actor and comedian, Jaspal Bhatti. The duo married a few months after the death of Jaspal Bhatti, known for many hit comedy shows in Doordarshan in the 1980s and 1990s. While shooting her debut Punjabi movie “Power Cut”, she fell in love with Jasraj Bhatti – her opposite lead of the film and they decided to tie the knot.

 

Surilie is quite active on social media and she keeps posting her photos regularly. She also owns a huge fan following crowd in social media. Surilie holds a graduation in Media and Event Management from Indian School of Media, Mumbai. Her schooling was done in Chandigarh and Mohali, before she moved to Mumbai to live with her sister, who already was a star of modelling world.
