Surendra Hiranandani Biography 
Surendra Hiranandani is the Founder and Managing Director of House of Hiranandani, associated with real estate business. He is a successful businessman and entrepreneur from Mumbai, whose name is listed among top 100 richest Indian’s and Forbes global billionaires. His father Lakhumal Hiranand Hiranandani was a famous ENT surgeon. Surendra Hiranandani is also associated with various charitable trusts across the country. He is the Managing Trustee of House of Hiranandani Foundation, and also serves as the President of the Unaided Schools Forum. He was awarded ‘Indian house owner’s verdict – Hamara Ghar – India’s most preferred builder’ title by Liberty Smart Living Awards for 2005-2006.
Surendra Hiranandani was born in 1954 in Mumbai as the son of Padma Bhushan winner Lakhumal Hiranand Hiranandani, a famous ENT surgeon. He is the youngest of three brothers. His second brother Niranjan Hiranandani is also the co-founder of the real estate group, House of Hiranandani. Surendra ventured into real estate aside his brother in 1985 when they bought 200 acres land in Powai Mumbai. They started building homes and apartments under the name - Hiranandani Gardens. Later they brought around 250 acres of land from Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad for Rs 800 crores expanding their business. The group now plans to expand the business to North and West regions of India too.
Surendra is credited to de-modelling acres of land in Mumbai and south India to India’s most vibrant life spaces. His constructions including well-planned luxurious living in leading cities are high in demand. He often includes native species of trees and shrubs into his urban construction spaces. He is also a philanthropist associated with charity works. Currently he has diversified his business to entertainment, ITES, retail, healthcare, and lifestyle store sectors too.
