Sunny Wayne Biography

Sunny Wayne is an upcoming Malayalam film actor known for lead and supporting roles. His real name is Sujith Unnikrishnan and he made his acting debut in the year 2012, aside another debutant, Dulquer Salmaan (son of Mammootty) in the thriller – Second show. His latest movie is Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi, when he was paired once again with Dulquar Salmaan. Thattathin Marayathu, Nee Ko Njaa Cha and Annayum Rasoolum are other released movies and all these movies have been box office hits. Second show gave him SIIMA awards for Best Actor in a Supporting Role and Jaihind TV Award Best Actor in a New Face for the year 2012. Safari, Koothara and Masala Republic are his upcoming movies.

 

His real name is Sujith and his friends used to call him ‘Sunny’. He had a brief journey as a techie and IT entrepreneur in Bangalore before entering movies. Sunny entered Malayalam film industry playing the side kick of Dulquar Salmaan in Second Show. His name was Kurudi. Now he is a known face to Kerala audience as all the films in which he has portrayed a role have become big successes at box office. Nee Ko Njaa Cha – marked his debut as a lead actor and it was a critical and commercial success too. He essayed the role of a young Casanova in this movie.

 

In 2013, Wayne played a supporting character in 'Annayum Rasoolum'. He portrayed the role of Ashley who narrates the story and the friend of Rassol who unwittingly brings Anna and Rasool together. Now he has joined as the parcel of new-age/new-generation Malayalam cinema. His latest release, Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi received positive responses and praises from the critics. This movie revolves around two college students who go on a road trip to Nagaland from Kerala.
