Suman Shashi Kant Biography 
Suman Shashi Kant is a noted model, actress and dancer associated with Hindi entertainment industry. She appears in Hindi soaps, portraying supporting, negative and character roles. She excelled in portraying negative roles in daily soaps. Currently she plays the role of Mausi Maa in the television soap, Meri Saasu Maa aired on Zee TV since 2016. She portrays a negative character in this family drama. Earlier she has done notable roles in the television shows –Gangaa, Ek Mutthi Aasmaan, Jamuniya, Bandhan, Rab Se Sohna Isshq, Phir Subah Hogi, Balika Vadhu etc. She was also seen as an item girl in the popular dance number, Gandhi Baat of the movie, R... Rajkumar where she shared screen space with actor Alok Nath.
Suman is a native of Madhya Pradesh and currently she stays in Mumbai, busy with her television shows. She started her television career in 2012 with the Doordarshan show, Jamuniya, where she played the character Rosy. Same year she was seen in the most popular series of Colors TV - Balika Vadhu, where she essayed the supporting role of Laali's Mother. She got noticed for this character and very soon she bagged many similar television offers. Same year she received the big break through the popular series, Phir Subah Hogi on ZEE TV, where she played the negative lead role. It was followed by another show on ZEE TV - Ek Mutthi Aasmaan. In this show too, she played antagonist role.
Suman has played noted roles in television serials thereafter, Pavitra Rishta, Gangaa, Meri Saasu Maa and Bandhan to name a few. Currently she plays the role of negative role of Mausi Maa in the television soap, Meri Saasu Maa aired on Zee TV.
