Sukh Sanghera Biography

Sukh Sanghera is a Punjabi director who directs movies as well as music videos. He has directed over 300 Punjabi music videos and is a recipient of multiple nominations at various award functions. He is a recipient of PTC Punjabi Music Awards for his music video Diary sung by Amrinder Gill. He joined film industry in 2016, working as line producer in Canadian schedule for Love Punjab, and later started directing films. He also served as assistant director later. He marked his directorial debut with Laiye Je Yaarian in 2019. He has also worked as a model for more than 70 Punjabi music videos before foraying into direction.

Sukh Sanghera belongs to village Buzrag, Ludhiana, Punjab. Initially he was into trucking business, before started his modelling career. Later he moved behind camera and worked as a line producer followed by director. He started learning the direction with the help of music videos uploaded in net, and co-founded an entertainment company 10+1 Creations Limited in 2010. In the past one decade he has directed over 300 Punjabi videos under this company. He has directed music videos of Mankirt Aulakh, Sharry Mann, Amrit Mann, Amrinder Gill, Karan Aujla, Deep jandu etc. He also worked with several less-known artists of Punjabi pop music.

Today Sukh Sanghera is Punjab's Leading Music Video Director. He moved to Canada in 2007 and returned to Punjab only in 2018 after he became a successful video director. In 2019 he directed his first Punjabi film. When he realized the respect he received from the people of Punjab, he decided to stay here. He used to save snap stories of people who came to meet him, and now plans to compile those stories into a video.
