Sudheesh Biography

Sudheesh is a popular actor of Malayalam known for character roles as well as comic roles. Sudheesh is the son of Sudhakaran Nair, an actor of Malayalam movies and together they have acted in a few movies as well.

Sudheesh’s full name is Sudheesh Nair and he worked as a child artist in the movies - Ormayil Nee Mathrem (1979) and Daaliyapookkal (1980). As an adult he started his acting at a younger age of about 15. He worked in Adoor Gopala Krishnan’s movie – Anantharam. The movie also starred Ashokan, an actor with whom Sudheesh has worked with numerous movies thereafter. He was only 15 when he acted as a teenager in Mammootty’s movie Mudra. He acted the role of an imprisoned teenager and the popular song “Puthu mazhayay pozhiyam” was pictured on him.

Another remarkable movie of his career was Fazil’s Manichitrathazhu, released in the year 1993. He played the role of Vinayaprasad’s younger brother, whom Mohan Lal teases always calling, ‘ Kindi’.  He played a significant role as an innocent brother in this movie. In the debut movie of Kunchakko Boban and Shalini, Aniyathipravu released in the year 1997, he played the role of Kunchakko’s friend who invites him and Harishree Ashokan to stay with him, along with his mad uncle – Shankaradi.  As a college boy, younger brother or friend of hero, he has always been a success actor on big screen.  He has been the popular choice for these roles in major movies of 90’s. He has proved his versatility as a comic actor as well.
