Sudhanshu Pandey Biography

Sudhanshu Pandey is a successful model and actor associated with Hindi entertainment industry. He made his film debut with year 2000 movie – Khiladi 420, and since then he has played noted character roles on big screen. He has also appeared in television shows. He made his television debut through 2001 Doordarshan series, Dishayen. He was a member of Band of Boys which split after a few years. Sherrin Varghese, Siddharth Haldipur, Karan Oberoi and Chin2 Bhosle were other members of this popular band who composed songs for many private albums, apart from working together for the movie - Kiss Kis Ko (2004). Meri Neend Ud Rahi Hai… Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai – is among their popular songs.

A known face in the field of modelling, films and television, Sudhanshu Pandey hails from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He was born on 22 August 1974. He got married to Mona while he was busy with modelling career, and he was just 22. Pandey started his career through modelling, and later switched on to acting. He made his film debut with the movie, Khiladi 420, where he played the role of Inspector Rahul. He was seen in a few music videos as well. Since then he is associated with television industry too. Years later he played the role of an upright cop in the Ajay Devgn starrer Singham, a major hit at box office.

He got initial recognition through a popular band - Band of Boys, a band formed by a group of buddies. A few years later, members decided to start their own individual career which they succeeded. Jhansi Ki Rani, Veera, CID, Shobha Somnath Ki, Yeh Meri Life Hai, Akela, Monica Mogre Case Files, 24, Dishayen, Rishtey, Kanyadaan, Tarla Dalal etc are a few among his popular TV shows. Dus Kahaniyan, Singh is King, Rajdhani Express, Murder 2 and Singham are among his noted films. He also acted in Tamil film - Billa 2.

Most recently he created headlines when producer-director Rakesh Roshan sued Sudhanshu Pandey for defamation. He accused Pandey over script stealing allegations and filed a case for 50 crore compensation. Soon after Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil was announced, the film got embroiled into a copyright controversy. Now Pandey wants to make the movie down in south with leading actors. The actor revealed that his film is about a blind couple, which is different from Roshan’s Kaabil.
