Sudha Singh Biography

Sudha Singh is an Indian athlete who holds the national record for 3000 m Steeplechase category which she achieved during the 16^th Asian Games at Guangzhou on 21^st November 2010.

Sudha Singh was born on 25^th June 1986. She broke her own record in steeplechase and was qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics. She missed the Olympic qualification mark in Shanghai Diamond League and later she showed good performance to earn her Olympic B grade. However she finished up in 13^th place in the Olympics and did not qualify for the finals.

She got second place in the Asian Championship in Guangzhou in China in the year 2009, 5^th place in the Commonwealth Games in Delhi held in 2011 and first place in the Asian Games in 2010 held at Guangzhou in China. She got second place in the Asian Championships held at Kobe in Japan in 2011 and 21^st place in the 2012 London Olympics.
