Sudeep Kumar Biography 
Sudeep Kumar is a playback singer of Malayalam cinema who works for movies at present. He sings Indian classical, devotional, filmy and popular music. He has sung for a few Tamil and Hindi movies as well and has recorded about 1000 songs till now. Nowhe works as a mentor on the music reality show Gandharvasangeetham of Kairali TV and has also worked as a groomer in Idea Star Singer Season 3 and 6. He has also worked as a mentor and judge of Amritha Junior Superstar.
Before entering playback singing, he sang for a few albums and dramas. His first audio album was released in the year 1998 – Thalolam, written and composed by Kaithapram. He has also worked for many leading writers of Malayalam, N.P. Prabhakaran, M.K.Arjunan, G.Devarajan, Alleppey Vivekanandan, M.G.Radhakrishnan, Perumbavoor G.Raveendranath, V.Dakshinamoorthy and his mentor Kalavoor Balan. He happened to meet the great composer of Malayalam Devarajan Master in 1999 and it became the turning point of his singing career. In 2000, Devarajan master conducted a stage show titled ‘Five promising singers of the new millennium’ and Sudeep Kumar was one among the five singers.
As a playback singer, his debut to Malayalam was Oomapenninu Uriyaadappayyan and the melodious romantic song, ‘Adharam sakhi madhuram’ is remembered for its lyrics as well as its new singer voice. The movie was directed by Vinayan who gave him more opportunities later too. Kattu Chembakam, Vellinakshatram and Albhuthadweepu have a few songs sung by Sudeep. Chandana Mukile of Vellinakshatram was very popular during 2004.
He has worked for almost all music composers of Malayalam at present. He worked for M. Jayachandran most. Ente Sharike of Madambi, Enthedi of Sikari, Nilave nilave of Chattakari and Vellaramkunnileri of Swapna sanchari are very popular. He has won Kerala state award for best singer in the year 2012 for the superhit song of Rathi nirvedam – Chempaka poonkattile. This particular song has given him a lot of singing awards including P.Bhaskaran Foundation Film Award, Jesy Foundation Film Award and Radio Mirchi South Indian Film Music Award.
His other popular songs are - Madhuram Gayathi Meera of Banaras, Arthungale Palliyil of Romans, Ente sarike of Madambi and Erivenal Povukayayi of Janapriyan.
