Srikanth Deva Biography 
Srikanth Deva is a noted film music composer and playback singer associated with Tamil film industry. He is the son of acclaimed music composer of Tamil cinema, Deva. He was born and brought up in Chennai, in a family with close links to cinema and music. His uncles Sabesh and Murali together form composer duo of Tamil cinema, Sabesh-Murali. His cousin Bobo Shashi also opted for music and is a successful composer, while his other cousins Jai and Karthik decided to join film field, but as actors. While most of his family members pursued music as career, Srikanth Deva too joined the same stream. Yet, he has also done a few cameo roles on big screen.
Srikanth Deva was born on 7 September 1980 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He was born into a family of artists and musicians, and closely associated with Tamil cinema. Srikanth Deva’s father Deva remained a top music composer of 1980s and 1990s in Tamil cinema, and Srikanth Deva too followed the same suite. He marked his film debut as a music composer through year 2000 film, Doubles, and since then he has composed songs for more than 50 movies. Many of his compositions remained highly successful. He is married to noted playback singer, Febi Mani since 2005, and the couple has one daughter.
His big break as a music composer happened in the year 2004, when he composed songs for M. Kumaran S/O Mahalakshmi. The compositions earned him Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Music Director. Songs like "Chennai Senthamizh" and "Yaaru Yaaru Ivano" were huge chartbusters. E, Chanakya, Sivakasi, Dharmapuri, Vetrivel Sakthivel, Sila Nerangalil, Vedha etc a few more noted works. He was fully active in the 2000s. Nagesh Thiraiarangam is his most recent work.
