Sri Kommineni Biography 
Sri Kommineni Srinivasa Chakravarthi, popularly called Sri Kommineni or simply ‘Sri’ was a film music composer and playback singer belonging to Telugu cinema. He is the son of famous music director, K. Chakravarthy. Suffering from kidney related ailments, this talented musician passed away on 18 April 2015 in Hyderabad aged only 48. Chakravarty is known for some remarkable music compositions like Gulabi, Anaganaga Oka Roju, Gaayam, Avide Maa Avide, Agadu Magadu Ra Bujji, Sahasam, Ammoru, Sindhuram, Police Brothers, etc and has some memorable songs to his credit. "Jagamantha Kutumbam Naade.." from Chakram is one of his most memorable tracks as a playback singer. His last released film album was Gopichand’s Sahasam. He has also released one private album - Hai Rabba - featuring noted singer Smitha.
Sri Kommineni was born On Sep 13 1966 in Andhra Pradesh. He completed Industrial and production engineering from Manipal University. He is married and has one son, Rajesh Chakravathy, named after his deceased elder brother. Associated with television, he anchored the musical show - Anthyakshari in Gemini TV in 1995. He is the regular singer for most of the Krishna Vamsi movies. His association with Vamsi started with Chandralekha. He supervised the music of Money, composed by Srinivasa Murthy.
Police Brothers was his debut movie as a music composer. Some of his super hit songs as a composer include – Sarele Vooruko from Little Soldiers, He Ma Kopama from Anaganaga Oka Roju, Hai re hai and Ardhasathabdapu from Sindooram, Vareva Emi and Badram be careful from Money Money, Jagamantha Kutumbam Naade from Chakram, Nizam pori and Niggadeesi Adugu from Ghaayam etc. As a music director, his best works are with Ram Gopal Varma, Gayam, Money, Money-Money and Anaganaga Oka Roju to mention a few.
