Sreeya Remesh Biography

Sreeya Remesh is a Malayalam actress who appears in movies and TV soaps. Aneeziya, Defedar, Oppam, Vetta etc are some of her noted roles. Sreeya made her film debut with Ennum Eppozhum – co-staring Mohanlal and Manju Warrior. Since then she has appeared in a dozen of films, portraying supporting and character roles. In 2019 she appeared as a TV actress in Mohanlal starrer Lucifer, directed by Prithviraj. She has also appeared in a few TV ads. She shared screen space with Mohanlal right from debut, Ennum Eppozhum, followed by Mohanlal, Oppam, Lucifer, Odiyan etc.

Sreeya Remesh hails from Mavelikara, Alappuzha district, Kerala. Ramachandran Pillai and Ratnamma Ramachandran are her parents. She graduated in commerce from Sanatana Dharma College, Alappuzha. She is married to Remesh Nair and has two children. After marriage she settled in Middle East, where she got engaged with dramas, comparing, anchoring and short films. It paved her way to television shows and films, in supporting roles. Initially she appeared in TV shows, and later started receiving offers from films.

Some of her TV shows are Kumkumapoov, Ayyappa Saranam, Sathyameva Jayathey, Mayamohini and Ezhu Rathrikal. Kumkumapoov – was her first break to television, and later she appeared in half a dozen of shows. Ennum Eppozhum directed by Sathyan Anthikad marked her big screen debut in 2015. She played the brief role of Dr. Usha in the movie. She played the titular role in Aneesya the same year, her second release. Vettah, Mohanlal, Oppam, Vikadakumaran, Odiyan etc a few more film releases. In 2016 she became a victim of fake news when a photo of hers standing with the producer of one of her films surfaced net.
