Sonam Bisht Biography

Sonam Bisht is a popular actress associated with Hindi small screen. She is also a very successful model and beauty pageant contestant. In 2013 she was the first runner-up in the Miss. Uttarakhand contest, and took part in the 2014 Miss India contest. She was also a contestant in the third season of reality show India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj. In 2015 she marked her small screen debut with ZEE TV’s show, Lajwanti and was later seen in Suhani Si Ek Ladki where she played the negative lead, Yuvraj's second wife. She played negative roles in both the television shows in which she appeared - Lajwanti and Suhani Si Ek Ladki.

Sonam Bisht hails from Dehradun, Uttarakhand. She completed her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya Hathibarkala, and later completed her graduation from D. A. V. College. She is interested in listening to music and dancing. She is interested in singing too. She was crowned Times Miss Sudako. Vidya Balan and John Abraham are her favourite Bollywood actors, and 3 Idiots & Jab We Met – her favourite movies. She owns a dreamful career in modelling winning many beauty pageant titles.

Sonam created a lot of buzz on the stage of Zee TV’s Cinestars Ki Khoj by slapping actor Emraan Hashmi hard on his cheeks. She was one of the participants of the show for its third season. The show gave her enough exposure to Indian audience, and bagged her first television role too. Since childhood she dreamt to become an actress and hence shifted to Mumbai to pursue a career in modelling and films. She is very close to her family and seeks father’s opinion before taking important decisions.
