Snehasish Chakraborty Biography 
Snehasish Chakraborty is a professional Indian footballer who currently plays for Prayag United S.C. in the I League in India as a midfielder. His professional career began in the year 2014, and since then he has played for clubs – Eveready, East Bengal, Chirag United, United, Pune FC and Southern Samity. He plays domestic league matches for various sports clubs. Noted player Lalkamal Bhowmick is his childhood friend, and they have played together several matches. He was a selected member of India U23 team in June 2011 for the 2012 Olympics qualifiers against Qatar. But he couldn’t play.
Snehasish Chakraborty was born on 16 February 1989 in Shyamnagar, West Bengal. His younger days were spent in Icchapur, where he attended a sports club. Throughout his school days, he practised football. He joined Eveready - an Indian football Club from Kolkata in the year 2004-05, and received coaching from Aloke Mukherjee. He stayed with Eveready for a year and then moved to East Bengal, with which he played till 2007. Though the left winger got his first taste of the Indian top flight football as a teenager at East Bengal, apart from a few exciting displays, he was never a regular and thus moved to United Sports Club (Prayag United) in 2007.
In 2007, as a senior footballer he joined Chirag United. He made his debut in the I-League against Bengaluru FC on 6 October 2013, when he came on as a substitute for Shouvik Chakraborty. For 2014-15 season he was signed by Pune FC, and after that for the past three years he has been playing for Southern Samity. He has been a victim of some infamous transfer controversies in the recent past just like Tolgay Ozbey. And the team was East Bengal.
