Sneha Khanwalkar Biography 
Sneha Khanwalkar is a young and successful female music director of Bollywood. Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!, is her most noted work, followed by Gangs of Wasseypur Part 1 and 2, for which she received Filmfare nomination in the year 2012. She was nominated for both parts combined. Love Sex aur Dhokha (2010) and Bheja Fry 2 (2011) are other noted works. She has also hosted a popular music-based MTV mini-series called Sound Trippin, for which she travelled nationwide in selected big towns.
She was born in Indore of Madhya Pradesh in a music family. Her mother is a trained Hindustani classical singer of Gwalior gharana, who taught Sheha the initials of classic music. Apart from studies, she has also done animation and art direction courses during higher secondary vacation. In 2001, her family moved to Mumbai. Her dream was to get a seat in some Engineering college. But instead she started working in animation followed by art direction. Again she changed her career and chose music as her first option. It happened after rediscovering her childhood passion for music and became successful as well.
She started her musical career through a short film, The Hope in the year 2004 followed by another short film - "Undisputed". She composed the title track of Bollywood movie, Kal: Yesterday and Tomorrow in 2005. Her big break was 2007 movie Go, produced by Ram Gopal Varma, and also got oppurtunity to compose a song for Sarkar Raj (2008). She visited the Raagini music festival and did research on music, particularly in Haryana before composing music for Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! It proved worth too and she won critics’ appreciation as well. Anurag Kashyap's celebrated movie Gangs of Wasseypur (Part 1 & Part 2) placed her among the top slotted music directors of Bollywood.
