Sithara Biography 
Sithara is an Indian actress who concentrated on Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam films. She also acted in some television serials. She was born on 30th June 1973 in Kilimanoor in Kerala in India. She started her acting career since the year 1988 from her age of fifteen. She was introduced to film industry by Usha Kiron movies.
She has learned Mohiniattam in the dance school in Kerala. Both of her parents were working and so they got frequent transfers. So she has to study in boarding school. She stopped her education after finishing Higher Secondary.
She was given a chance to act in the movie Kaveri when she was learning dance. The film producer was in search of a new girl and he wanted her to act in the film based on classical music. The music director Dakshina Murthy got consent from her father and her school principal supported her. She was good in science and she wanted to become a doctor but she got one chance after the other to act in movies and so she had to quit her education.
Her debut movie in Tamil was Pudhu Pudhu Arthangal. Since then she has acted in many movies. Her Tamil movies include Pudhu Vasantham, Pudhu Pudhu Arthangal, Padayappa and Chinna Durai. Her Malayalam movies include Bharya Onnu Makkal Moonnu, Panchapandavar, Guru, Bhagyavan, Chamayam, Customs Diary, Journalist, Ezhunnallathu, Orukkam, Jaathakam, Vachanam, Muthu Kudayum Choodi, Nadavazhikal, Puthiya Karukkal, Mukthi, Padippura and Mazhavil Kavadi.
She also acted in few Telugu films. Her Telugu films include Samba, Sneham Kosam and Manasu Mamatha. She acted with Rajinikanth in the Tamil film Padayappa directed by K. S. Ravikumar. This gave her good name and she became a household name for graceful characters. After a short break she returned back to acting in the year 2008.
