Sirivennela Sitaramasastri Biography 
Sirivennela Sitaramasastri is a noted and well established lyricist of Telugu cinema. He is a multiple winner of Nandi Award for Best Lyricist 10 times and Filmfare Award for Best Lyricist – Telugu 3 times. He is currently the highest paid film lyricist in Andhra Pradesh. He has received a hat-trick in Nandi awards as a lyricist winning successively from 1986 to 1988. He has also won the awards twice in consecutive times. He was honored with Lifetime achievement award in January 2012. He is also a winner of the Bronzed Llama.
The songs for which he won Andhra Pradesh state awards are "Aadi Bhikshuvu" of Sirivennela (1986), "Telavaarademo Swami" of Shrutilayalu, "Andela Ravamidi Padamuladaa" of Swarna kamalam (1988), "Surajyamavaleeni Swarajyamendukani" of Gaayam (1993), "Chilaka Ee Thoodu Leeka" of Subha lagnam (1994), "Manasu Kaastha Kalatha Padithe" of Sreekaram (1996), "Ardha Sathabdapu Agnananne" of Sindhooram, "Devudu Karunistaadani" of Prema katha (1999), "Jagamanta Kutumbam Naadi" of Chakram (2005) and "Enta Varaku Endu Koraku" of Gamyam (2008). He received Filmfare awards for Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana (2005), Gamyam (2008) and Mahatma (2009).
As a lyricist, he debut with K. Viswanath's Sirivennela. The songs of the movie became so popular that its movie name got tagged with Sitaramasastri‘s name. The lyrics were penned so beautifully that each piece was regarded as a landmark of Telugu lyrical world. Vidhata Thalapuna, sung by S. P. Balasubrahmanyam and P. Susheela was the most significant song. Other notable songs include Adibhikshuvu Vadinedi Koredhi and Ee gali Ee Nela. With the single hit, Sitaramasastri got good platform in the industry and later became the leading lyricist of the industry. As a lyricist, a few of his latest films include – Paisa, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum, Onamalu, Adavi Kaachina Vennela, Om 3D, Anthaka Mundu Aa Tarvatha and Balupu.
