Sindhu Shyam Biography

Sindhu Shyam Ganesh, shortly called Sindhu or Sindhu Ganesh is a well-known Film and Television Actress, Model and Classical Dancer from south India. She is a performer on stage and a very popular television actress of Tamil shows. Apart from acting in a few TV soap dramas, she has also anchored a few Tamil shows on Tamil TV channels. She appeared in popular TV series - Sangeerthanam Pole, Sthree, Hridayam Saaakshi, Aanandam, Deiva Magal, Rekha IPS, Pugunda Veedu, Pagal Nilavu etc, and has also appeared in the cookery reality show, Kitchen Super Star, aired on Vijay TV. As a film actress, her role in 2001 Malayalam film, Praja was lauded most.

 

Sindhu Shyam hails from Kerala. But later she settled in Chennai with her professional and family life. After her marriage with Ganesh, she is known by the name Sindhu Shyam Ganesh in the industry. She was born on 17 February 1985. She remained a model, before she pursued acting, and she has also appeared in a few movies. Comedy, dancing, and singing are her favourite hobbies. Rajinikanth is her favourite actor, and Shobana, her favourite heroine. Malaysia is her favourite tourist destination.

 

Sindhu made her acting debut as a child artist in the Malayalam film "Bhoothakkannadi" along with Mammootty, directed by Lohithadas. The movie was released in the year 1997. She played the role of Minikutty, lead actress Sarojini's daughter. The role of Sarojini was played by actress Sree Lakshmy. Later she worked in Malayalam movies, Mazha, Vanaprastham, Oru cheru Punjiri, Orey Kadal, Praja, Swayamvarapandal etc, and also Tamil movies, Ayutha Ezhuthu, Ra Ra, Bogan etc. As a television actress, she is best known for the roles - Thilagavathy Raju in Deivamagal and Revathy role in Pagal Nilavu.
