Sidhant Gupta Biography

Sidhant Gupta is a Bollywood actor and super model. He is best known for his roles in Bollywood movies - Bang Bang Bangkok, TutiyaDil and Badmashiyaan. He played the parallel lead of Dev Arora for the movie, Badmashiyaan, where he was casted aside Suzanna Mukherjee and Sharib Hashm. He is also a television actor who appeared in Tashan-e-Ishq, where he portrayed male protagonist opposite Jasmin Bhasin.

Sidhant Gupta was born in Jammu in 1987. He was interested in sports during his school days and has been involved with athletics and cricket. He has represented J&K in national level under-14 cricket, apart from under-17 swimming and under-19 basketball. Later he studied for Commercial pilot license in New Delhi. He has one elder brother into fashion designing profession who designs clothes for Siddant’s modelling career too. Sidhant started off as a model for ramp shows and was also seen in several TV ads like Hero Honda, Clear Shampoo and Close Up.

His successful modelling career helped him to bag his first Bollywood film, Tutiya Dil (2012). He played male lead aside Iris Maity and Suzanna Mukherjee. Bang Bang Bangkok released in 2013 was his second movie. The movie was directed by Vikram Pradhan and it failed miserably at box office. The movie also starred Namit Khanna and Sahil Anand, and Sidhant played parallel lead. His latest release is Badmashiyaan. However this romantic film received mixed reviews from critics and was a box office failure. The movie was released in March 2015 under the banner, VRG Motion Pictures. He worked with Suzanna Mukherjee for the movies, Tutiya Dil and Badmashiyaan and both the movies were directed by Amit Khanna.
