Siddharth Shukla Biography

Siddharth Shukla is a successful television actor known for the roles of Shubh in Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na and Shivraj Anoop Shekhar in Balika Vadhu, the television series in which he works currently now. Jaane Pehchaane Se Ye Ajnabbias Veer Pratap Singh and Love U Zindagi as Rahul Aditya Kashyap are other popular roles he played on Hindi television. He is to debut film screen with Karan Johar’s Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya, where he shares screen space with popular young actors of today, Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. Earlier he has made a brief appearance in 2007 movie - I am in Love, which starred Arjun Gaur and Nafisa Khan in lead roles.  

He was paired with Mohena Kumari Singh in the last season of reality dance show of celebrities -Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 6. In the year 2013, this popular actor bagged two television awards - Most Lokpriya Face Male at Colors Golden Petal Awards and GR8 Performer of the year Male at ITA Awards. The recent update is that this talented actor has signed a 3-film deal with one of the popular production houses, Dharma Productions of Karan Johar.

He got fame and name through the popular television series, “Balika Vadhu”. Sidharth’s performance in a dance reality show “Jhalak Dikhla Ja” made him so popular among the audience. Once Karan Johar happened to watch him through this show, in which Karan was a judge. He was so much impressed by Sidharth’s performance that he signed a three-film deal with this budding star. Sushant Singh Rajput is one such Indian actor who has entered film world through television and got two hits back to back – Kai poche and Shuddh Desh Romance.
