Siddharth Roy Kapur Biography 
Siddharth Roy Kapur is a film producer, an entrepreneur and businessman who serves as the MD & CEO of Disney India. He has been earlier associated with UTV known for television serials and Bollywood movies, and has excelled in the marketing roles. He is also a film producer. The talented actress of Bollywood Vidya balan is married to this business magnet. Both his brothers too are associated with Bollywood. His youngest brother Aditya Roy Kapur is a leading young actor best known for playing the lead role in Aashique 2. His younger brother Kunaal Roy Kapur is a film director who also plays supporting roles in Bollywood films and is best known for the roles in Delhi Belly, Yeh Jawani hai diwani and Nautanki Saala.
He was born on 2 August 1974 in Mumbai into a family of artists. His father is Punjabi and his mother is a Jewish. His mother Salome Roy Kapur - a former Miss India is also known as a choreographer. Siddharth completed Master’s in Business Management from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies. After that he got associated with UTV since 2005 and known for his marketing leadership roles. He headed the Marketing & Communications division of UTV. In 2008 he became the CEO of Motion Pictures for UTV and took the organization to great heights.
Under his leadership UTV Motion Pictures emerged as one of the top film production houses of the country. Fashion, Jodha Akbar, No One Killed Jessica, Delhi Belly, Rowdy Rathore, Paan Singh Tomar, Barfi! etc were the major hits. When UTV merged with The Walt Disney Company India, he became the CEO of the newly formed company. In 2014 he became the managing director. Chennai Express, The Lunchbox, PK, Kick, Khoobsurat, ABCD 2, Highway, Filmistaan etc were the major releases.
