Shweta Gulati Biography

Shweta Gulati is a noted television actress known for the roles - Tia Ahuja in Remix and Dr Nikita Malhotra in Dill Mill Gayye. She received best actress in a supporting role nomination for her role in Remix at Indian telly awards and Hero Honda Indian Television Awards. She was also nominated for Glamourous Face of the Year 2005 at Hero Honda Indian Television Awards. For ‘Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr’ she received nomination for Favourite Yogya Bahu at 2004 Star Parivaar Awards. In 2009, she debut big screen with the movie, detective Naani, where she played the role of Neeti Tipnis.

Shweta Gulati started her career as a model doing ad shoots. Her first ad was directed by Prahlad Kakkar. She debut small screen as an actress in the year 2003 with Shagun, where she played the role of Juhi. Same year she played the role of Tara in television serial, Kyun Hota Hai Pyarrr and hosted the show, Pardey Ke Peeche. All these shows were telecasted on Star Plus. In 2004, she appeared in Lipstick and Remix. Remix proved to be the turning point of her acting career and gave her multiple nominations at several award functions.

Later she has hosted a few programs like Weekend Popkorn on Zoom TV, Zara Nachke Dikha on Star One and Dekh India Dekh on Sony TV. Currently she appears in television series, Jo Biwi Se Kare Pyaar. She has also appeared in television soaps and serials like Man Mein Hai Visshwas, Panaah, Dill Mill Gayye, Crime patrol, Gili Gili Gappa, Aek Chabhi Hai Padoss Mein, Jigar Ma Badi Aag Hai, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang and Amber Dhara. She has also done a few theatre works like - KKK...Kiran, Aastha and Wife Time Trouble.
