Shriya Kishore Biography

Shriya Kishore is a successful model from Mumbai. She was crowned as Pantaloons Femina Miss India Earth 2009 in Mumbai and represented India at Miss Earth beauty pageant. She was a semi-finalist (top 16) in Miss Earth 2009 and she performed well in the long gown competition. She was a wild card entry into the Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2009. She won Miss Pune beauty pageant title in 2006, while during her graduation in Manipal.

Indian beauty queen Shriya Kishore was born on 12 May 1986 in Mumbai to Nirupama and Colonel Sanjay Kishore. Her younger brother, Divij Kishore, is a corporate lawyer who is based in Mumbai. She went to a boarding school, Lawrence School in Lovedale, Ooty. In 2008 she graduated in Hotel Management (BHM) from the Welcome group Graduate School of Hotel Administration, Manipal University. Shriya joined WGSHA in 2004 as part of the 19th Course of the college. She won Miss Pune beauty pageant title in 2006 when she was still studying at the college in Manipal. She was crowned as Pantaloons Femina Miss India Earth 2009 in Mumbai soon after completing her graduation at WGHSA, the Manipal University.

She was brilliant in academics and was also in co-curricular activities and sports during her graduation days. She had constantly ranked amongst the 20 best students of the class. She was supposed to join Mumbai division of the Oberoi Group of Hotels during her final year at Manipal. However after winning beauty pageant she got busy with her modelling assignments. In Miss Earth beauty pageant, she competed with 90 beauties representing different nations across the globe.
