Shravanthi Sainath Biography

Shravanthi Sainath is an Indian film actress who entered the film industry through the film Life of Pi by Ang Lee.

She is a classical dancer learning dance from her age of five. She was getting dance training at Sridevi Nrityalaya dance school run by Sheela Unnikrishnan. When the Life of Pi team was searching for a new face, she was found out in that school. Then her video was sent to New York and after being selected there, she was sent to Taiwan for a screen test.

She was so happy to get a chance to act in this film and the shooting was conducted at Puducherry. Her parents are very supportive to her acting career. It was at that time that she completed her tenth standard at SBOA School and joined the Junior College and was only seventeen years old. She acted alongside 19 years old Patel in that film. She continues her studies and says that she will take decision about continuing her acting career only after the release of the film.
