Shraddha Das is a Telugu film actress. Shraddha Das was born in Mumbai to Bengali parents. Das made her acting debut in 2008 with the Telugu film Sidhu from Srikakulam. Later she appeared in movies like Target, 18, 20 Love Story, Diary and Adhineta, though all were marked commercial failures. She debut Bollywood with Lahore in 2010, which was a critically acclaimed movie. She has also appeared in the super successful movie, Arya 2. She played the role of Shanti in this movie who has a crush on the leading star of the movie, Allu Arjun. She has also worked in Hindi movie - Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji, though it was a commercial failure. She played the role of love interest of Omi Vaidya in this movie. In 2012, she debut Malayalam with Dracula 3D.

 

Shraddha Das was born in Mumbai on March 4, 1987. Her father is a businessman and her mother is a housewife. Shraddha graduated from University of Mumbai at SIES College of Commerce and Economics with a Bachelor of Mass Media degree in journalism. Her childhood and teens were spent at Mumbai. But she debut big screen with south Indian movies. She debut in the year 2008 with Telugu movie, Sidhu from Srikakulam. Later she worked in a series of flopped Telugu movies.

 

She played female lead of Jagapati Babu for the movie, Adhineta directed by Samudra. In 2010, she was acted opposite Varun Sandesh for the movie, Maro Charitra. She dated Varun Sandesh for a short period though the relationship didn’t last too long. ‘Lahore’ (Hindi debut) happened to be her first critically well acclaimed movie where she played a Pakistani character. Lucky Kabootar and Chai Shai Biscuit are her upcoming Bollywood flicks. She is to debut Bengali film industry with - The Royal Bengal Tiger.
