Shonal Rawat Biography

Shonal Rawat is a successful Indian model who won the First Runner up Title at the Miss Asia Pacific Contest held in Manila, Philippines in 2003. She was Femina Miss India Asia pacific the same year, who got opportunity to represent India in Miss Asia Pacific contest. It was just one month after Shonali Nagrani's triumph at the Miss International pageant in Tokyo, when Shonali was crowned First Runner Up at Miss International contest. Shonali has also bagged the titles of Miss Talent, Miss Congeniality, Miss Creamsilk and Miss Gandang Rickyreyes (contest for best hair style). It was her personality and hair that won her over most of the judges. At present Shonal is busy with television and has appeared in television serials and anchored a few shows.

She belongs to Kolkata. Her father is an Indian Police Service officer and her mother is busy with her kindergarten. She graduated in Chemistry from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata. She participated in Femina Miss India in 2003 where she was chosen as Femina Miss India Asia-Pacific 2003. Nikita Anand from Delhi was the winner of Miss India contest. Her win in Miss Asia Pacific contest earned her instant success. After that she appeared in shows for Satya Paul.

She has appeared in comedy series of television, 'Aaj Ke Shriman Shrimati' and has also hosted a few shows. She hosts the entertainment show, Planet Bollywood on ZOOM TV and Champion Chaalbaaz No.1 on Sony television network. Shonal has also done various ad campaigns like Nescafe and Shalimar paints and also runs her own Event Management Company.
