Shivendra K Singh Biography 
Shivendra Kumar Singh is currently working as a Senior Correspondent with Cogencis’ New Delhi office. He has also worked with The Economic Times, IndiaTV, ZeeSports and Kabir Communications in the past. He had his education from Colvin Talukdar College, Lucknow. Shivendra has a B.Tech degree in Information & Technology from UPTU, Lucknow U.P.
Shivendra Kumar Singh has worked as an assistant director in a Delhi based production house. As Senior Correspondent for The Economic Times starting from February 2011 to May 2015 before joining Cogencis Information Services Ltd., which is a leading Service Provider of Media services , newspaper advertising, in New Delhi branch.
Shivendra Kumar Singh with experience in print and broadcast media worked for The Economic Times in Political Bureau as Sr Correspondent. He covered Delhi elections and was assigned to cover Aam Aadmi Party. He also covered Haryana elections and also covered other important activities including CSAT issue and Ajit Singh bungalow case, which brought lots of public attention.
Shivendra Kumar Singh widely covered Business related news. He is proud to have taken up the job of a business corrospondent with no formal education in financial reporting. He has reported on variety of topics as wide as business policy, e-commerce, real estate, markets, e-governance and private equity. He says he is not an expert but being a quick learner he has a good understanding of his job.
Shivendra Kumar Singh has worked with India TV and ZTV's Sports section in Electronic Media from October 2008 to November 2010. He started in the media with Zee Sports and did the '3-minute news slots in 30 minutes' in Hindi and English bulletins. He worked on a 30-minute weekly program ‘Golf Planet’ and also did reporting assignments during his training period with Zee.
Later Shivendra joined IndiaTV and covered international desk. He was in charge of alloting and selecting news, make anchor visuals and program packages where he worked as an assistant producer. Shivendra has also worked as an Assistant Director with Kabir Communications, a Delhi based production house writing scripts for ad-films, corporate films and documentaries as a freelance assistant director.
Shivendra has been associated with PALTAN-A Group for Theatre and Art, Civil Rights and Social Action, Environment, Animal Welfare, Arts and Culture, Children Welfare, Economic Empowerment, Education and Health related issues.
