Sherin Biography

Sherin is a south Indian film actress and former model. She has acted inall south Indian language films and has also done a few popular item songs.She appeared in the song "RanguRangamma" of Vikram starrer Bhima. ThulluvathoIlamaiin 2002 marked her acting debut when she was only 16. Though she couldn’t achieve attention as a teenager, she made a strong comeback with Darshan-starrer Bhupathi.

This Bangalorian girl lived in Indranagar. She was studying her first PU in Baldwins College when she got the first film offer. She used to do modelling in those days to earn pocket money and for the same reason she was not able to attend regular classes. Later she discontinued her studies and did BA correspondence. She attended a ramp walk and a film producer spotted her there and offered her with a film role. Thus ThulluvathoIlamai marked her screen debut in 2002. Later she appeared in movies – Dhruva, Jaya, Student Number 1, Whistle, Juniors, Danger etc portraying different types of roles, belonging to different south Indian languages. In 2006 she marked her Malayalam debut through ‘Moonnamathoral’ where she played parallel lead aside Samvrutha Sunil and Jyothirmayi.

After doing a series of bad roles, she took a break from silver screen to prepare herself. Bhupathi proved to be her good comeback. She was seen in lead role opposite Darshan. She signed a couple of projects with GV films. Later she played lead roles in movies like HareendranOruNishkalankan and Urchagam and also appeared in a popular dancing track of Bheema. AK 56 was her last release and upcoming movies are Dhigil and Nanbenda.
