Shereen Bhan Biography

Shereen Bhan is one among the stylish anchors of business channel – CNBC TV 18. She has been active here since 2000. Earlier she has worked as a news researcher and has worked under news and current affairs section. She is a journalist and news anchor. She is the Delhi Bureau Chief and the Head of CNBC-TV18. She is one among the beautiful anchors of Indian television who has been selected among the most beautiful Indian faces of different Indian magazines. In April 2005, she has been awarded the FICCI (Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry) Woman of the Year award. In the September 2005 issue of Femina, Women’s magazine, she was selected as one among the best 20 beautiful faces of the year. Not only that, she was featured on the cover of Vogue magazine's December 2008 issue. In the October 2008 issue Vogue magazine, she was chosen among the 50 most Beautiful Women.

Shereen Bhan did her schooling at Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kashmir and also at Air Force Bal Bharati School New Delhi. She took a degree in philosophy from St. Stephen's College, Delhi. Then she took a master's in Communication Studies from the University of Pune. Film and television were her specialization subjects. Her career began as a news-researcher for Karan Thapar in his production house Infotainment Television. Then she switched on to UTV. She joined News and Current Affairs division. Thus she has become a part of television programs like Line of Fire for Sab TV and We the People for Star TV.

After joining CNBC TV 18, she has anchored different successful programs like Young Turks, India Business Hour, The Nation's Business and Power Turks. She even acts as an event manager for many ground events for the channel and often interviews many celebrated guests in different programs. She has also appeared in prime time programs like Bazaar Morning Bell, India business hour, Opening exchange etc. She also anchors ‘What woman want’ since 2012. In 2009, she has been named as one among the Young Global Leaders of 2009 by World Economic forum. Up to date, she enjoys the position of one among the top presenters and anchors of the business channel – CNBC TV 18.
