Shefali Sharma Biography 
Shefali Sharma is a well-known and popular television actress who appears in Hindi soaps. She gained recognition as a successful actress playing lead roles in a few popular TV shows. She portrayed the lead roles of Bani in Bani – Ishq Da Kalma, Riya in Tum Aise Hi Rehna and Vijaya Sinha in Tere Bin. She was also seen playing supporting role of Laalima in the very popular series on Star Plus - Diya Aur Baati Hum. In 2017 she marked her film debut with Punjabi film, Toofan Singh, a semi-biographical film about the Punjabi Sikh activist Shaheed Bhai Jugraj Singh Toofan, where she played the female lead of Sukhjeet Kaur.
Shefali Sharma was born on December 25, 1987 in Amritsar, Punjab. She marked her television debut in 2013, and has been active in the same field since then. She marked her acting debut with the popular show, Bani-Ishq Da Kalma aired on Colors TV and she essayed the roles of Bani Parmeet Singh Bhullar/ Maya Malhotra. The show managed to gain a place in hearts of everyone with its receptive theme of young Punjabi girls got married to NRIs and soon being abandoned by their husbands. Being a Punjabi, the show with backdrop of Punjabi culture earned her a lot of recognition.
The show went off the air in 2014 after airing 100 episodes. But it helped her to bag the second TV soap in a lead role - Tum Aise Hi Rehna where she played Ria Abhimanyu Maheshwari. The show too went off the air very soon in 2015. After playing a supporting role in Diya Aur Baati Hum she bagged her third female lead role in 2016 through Tere Bin aired on &tv.
