Sheena Bora Biography 
Sheena Bora was an executive working for Mumbai Metro One based in Mumbai, who went missing on April 24, 2012. Three years later in August, 2015 her mother Indrani Mukerjea, the wife of former Star India CEO Peter Mukherjea was arrested by Mumbai Police. She was accused of murdering her daughter Sheena Bora, and subsequently burning her corpse. Indrani’s driver Shyamvar Pinturam Rai and her husband - Sanjeev Khanna were also arrested. The case created quite sensation and became the headline of all the leading newspapers and news channel of the country. In a plot that seems straight out of a Sidney Sheldon novel, the murder mystery is nothing short of a tele-serial or detective play.
Sheena Bora was born on 11 February 1987 in Guwahati, Assam and she was only 25 when she went missing in 2012. Sheena Das Bora was the daughter of Indrani Mukerjea and her partner Siddhartha Das in 1987. Her parents parted in 1989 and Indrani left the children under the care of her parents in Guwahati before she moved to Kolkata. She had one brother too and both were raised by her maternal grandparents. The children eventually moved to Mumbai and Sheena did her graduation from St. Xavier's College.
Indrani has already settled with marriage bliss. She had tied knot with Peter Mukerjea, former CEO of STAR India. Before that she has already married and divorced Sanjeev Khanna, and had one daughter in this relationship. Indrani kept her relationship with Siddhartha Das under wraps and introduced her children, Sheena Bora and Mikhail Bora, to Peter as her younger siblings. After studies, Sheena worked at Reliance Infrastructure and Mumbai Metro One. Sheena was employed with Reliance ADAG when she disappeared in 2012. Indrani made everyone believe that Sheena had gone to the United States for higher studies. So a missing First Information Report was never filed.
It’s believed that she had a relationship with Rahul Mukerjea, Peter Mukerjea’s son from former marriage and it’s not clear if it is the reason for her murder. On Rahul's insistence, police visited Indrani's Worli residence and he wanted to know why Sheena went to US without informing him. On August 25, 2015, Mumbai police arrested Indrani Mukerjea. She was accused of murdering Sheena Bora and now she is kept under police custody. Investigations are going on, many puzzles are still to be unfolded. Though Sheena loved her mother in her childhood, she hated her towards the end of her life. Her diary note is the best instance.
