Sheela Rajkumar is a famous television actress associated with Tamil entertainment industry. She has also done a few supporting roles on big screen. Currently she plays female lead role opposite Puvi in Azhagiya Tamil Magal, the popular daily soap aired on Zee Tamil. The show is on air since 2017 and immensely successful. It also earned her recognition among Tamil television viewers. As a film actress, she was first seen in 2012 movie, Naan, followed by Pizza, To Let etc.

She was born on June 14, 1992 in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu. Currently she resides in Chennai. She started her acting career at the age 20 in the year 2012 through the movie, Naan in a brief role. She was also seen in horror thriller, Pizza the same year. Yet she gained recognition through television. In 2017 she bagged her first television role, Azhagiya Tamil Magal in a lead role. It is a remake of the Telugu language television series Mutyala Muggu aired on Zee Telugu from 2016. Sheela plays the role of a village girl Poongkodi, a Kabaddi game player. She shares screen space with Puvi who plays his first lead role through Azhagiya Tamil Magal.

Sheela Rajkumar is a trained classical dancer and holds a master’s degree in Bharathanatyam. Currently she also works as a dance teacher and choreographer. Dancing remains her main passion and hobby, though she loves acting too. Her debut film, Naan was directed by Jeeva Sankar, and she shared screen space with Vijay Antony. She was seen alongside Vijay Sethupathi, Remya Nambeesan and Karunakaran for the critically acclaimed Tamil horror thriller, Pizza.
