Sharreth Biography 
Sujith Vasudevan I, better known by his stage name Sharreth is a prominent music director of Malayalam cinema. He has also debut Tamil and Telugu music industries with the movies – June R and Kalavaramaye Madilo respectively. He is also known as a playback singer and appears regularly as a celebrity judge for several song based reality songs of Malayalam television channels. He is the first recipient of Kerala State Film Award for Best Classical Music Singer for his song Bhavayami in the film Meghatheertham. As a music director, his noted works are Kshanakathu, Ivan Megharoopan, Rudraksham, Ottayal pattalam, Sindhoora Rekha, Cover story, Sparsham, Sagaram sakshi, Thacholi Varghese Chekavar, Ayyappantamma Neyyappam Chuttu, Achaneyanenikkishtam, Vakkalathu Narayanankutty, Paleri Manikyam, Thalsamayam Oru Penkutty, Kanne madanguka, Thirakkada and Pavithram. He has also released several music albums.
Sharreth was born to Vasudevan and Indiradevi in Kollam. He got privilege to study under Dr. M. Balamuralikrishna. As a playback singer, his debut song was Dum dum dum with K. S. Chithra for the Malayalam film Onningu Vannenkil (1985). Romantic movie, Kshanakathu in 1990, with memorable songs like Aakashadeepma and Aa ragam, marked his successful debut as a music director. Later he gave memorable music for movies like Pavithram and Thacholi Varghese Chekavar. With late 1990’s, he cemented his position as a successful music director of the industry.
He received Kerala State Film Award for Best Music Director for 'Ivan Megharoopan' in the year 2011. Critically acclaimed movie, Thirakkatha gave him Filmfare award as well as Mullassery Raju Music Award. He has been a celebrated judge of the top rated reality singing show of Asianet – Idea Star singer for five seasons and through this show, he became a household name. He has also judged Amrita TV musical reality show Super Star - the Ultimate in the year 2011 and Ghandharava sangeetham 2012 on Kairali TV. Now he appears in Indian Voice Season 2 of Mazhavil manorama as a celebrity judge.
