Shariq Khan Biography

Shariq Khan is an Indian actor who works in Tamil film industry. This young actor is the son of popular south Indian actors Riyaz Khan and Uma Riyaz, both known for supporting roles. He made his acting debut in the 2016 Tamil mystery thriller film Pencil, where he played the supporting role of Nithin, a rich spoilt brat who is the son of a top actor. G. V. Prakash Kumar and Sri Divya played the lead roles in school campus based movie. As per latest biz, he is to play solo lead in a few movies, and has also entered the second season of Bigg Boss Tamil reality show, as one among 16 contestants.

Shariq Khan was born into a family with filmy background, a family of actors. He was born and brought up in Chennai. Both his parents Riyaz Khan and Uma Riyaz are well established actors of south Indian cinema. Shariq is the grandson of yesterday actress Kamala Kamesh. His brother Shamshad has acted in a children’s film - Suttapazhamum Sudathapazhamum, released in Tamil. His father Riyaz Khan is quite popular for his police roles, as well as negative ones, while he has played a few positive shaded characters also. Shariq marked his debut in a light-grey shaded role in Pencil in 2016. He gave full justification to the role, and received positive reviews from critics.

Shariq completed his schooling at A.V. Meiyappan Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Chennai. Since young he is interested in photography and football. Shariq Hassan is now a part of Bigg Boss Tamil Season 2. The show hosted by Kamal Hassan has already made a lot of buzz. Will Shariq survive 100 days inside the closed house? Only time can answer.
