Shardul Pandit Biography

Shardul Pandit is a television actor of Hindi shows, singer, and radio jockey. As a television actor, he is best known for essaying Devang in 2017 &TV show, Kuldeepak. He played the male lead opposite Keerti Nagpure and their fresh pairing was greatly appreciated by the viewers. Shardul has been a part of other daily shows like Bandini, Godh Bharaai, Godh Bharaai and Siddhi Vinayak. He currently plays the parallel lead in the show, Siddhi Vinayak sharing screen space with Nitin Goswami and Farnaz Shetty. The show is aired on &TV. He hosted and acted as a commentator for the show - Box Cricket League, and was also seen in 2014 Bollywood film, Happy New Year.

 

Shardul Pandit hails from Indore, Madhya Pradesh. His early days were spent in his home town and pursued his higher education too. He completed MBA in Advertising and Public Relations from the International Institute of Professional Studies (IIPS) Indore. He was the winner of Zee India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj from Indore, along with Divyanka Tripathi and Bharat Chawda. Shardul’s professional career started off as a radio jockey, and later branched to singing and acting fields. As a radio jockey, he joined Radio Mirchi in Indore. His name was entered into the Limca Book of Records, when he performed non-stop for 19 hours on the radio. Very soon he shifted his base to Mumbai.

 

In 2009 he marked his acting debut through the popular series, Bandini in a supporting role. Later he got opportunity to play both lead and supporting roles on small screen. Yet in 2012, he moved to Dubai and worked as a radio jockey for Radio Mirchi International. He slipped into depression after the show, Bandini, and that’s why he shifted to Dubai. In 2015, he returned back to India and continued with his TV shows. He got lead/parallel lead role for the shows, Kuldeepak and Siddhi Vinayak, both aired on &TV. The show Kuldeepak marked his comeback to small screen after a break of 8 years.
