Sharad Malhotra Biography

Sharad Malhotra is a popular television and film actor associated with Hindi entertainment industry. His roles as Rishi Singh Bedi and Sagar in Colors TV's Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki and Zee TV's Banoo Main Teri Dulhann respectively are most popular. Currently he plays the role of Raunak Singh in Muskaan aired on Star Bharat. He is most popular with his lead roles and has appeared in around a dozen of TV shows since 2004. He has also played lead roles. He played lead role in Bollywood film, Ek Tera Saath in 2016, and also 2012 film, From Sydney with Love. Both the films were not commercially successful and he later concentrated in TV roles.

Sharad Malhotra was born in Mumbai on 9 January 1983. He married Ripci Bhatia most recently on 20 April 2019. Malhotra started his career with the reality show, India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj in 2004. He got his first big break to television in a lead role through 2006 TV soap, Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, where he played the lead role of Sagar opposite popular actress Divyanka Tripathi. Before that he has appeared in a cameo role in Kabhie To Nazar Milao same year. Banoo Main Teri Dulhann aired on ZEE during 2006 – 2009 helped him to learn initial recognition in TV screen. It also helped him to grab more acting roles on small screen.

As a television actor he played lead roles in the shows, Banoo Main Teri Dulhann, Muskaan, Bharat Ka Veer Putra – Maharana Pratap and Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki. He has been a part of Box Cricket League for two seasons in 2014 and 2016. He marked his big screen debut with From Sydney with Love in 2012. He was paired with Bidita Bag for the movie, which was a flop. As a TV actor he has received numerous awards including Indian Telly Awards Best Actor (Critics) for Banoo Main Teri Dulhann in 2007.
