Shankar Krishnamurthy Biography 
Shankar Krishnamurthy is an engineer, media personality, business, HRD and management consultant, and lawyer from Nangavaram, Tamil Nadu. He regularly appears in leading newspapers and television channels for interviews and other shows. He is a management consultant who refines young graduates and makes them better candidates for employment. He is a self-made man with an academic background in engineering and management, who gives training to students who passed as graduates so that they can perform better in their professional career later. He wants to implement Six Sigma philosophy in the university level, which has already yielded best results in industry and corporate sector.
Shankar Krishnamurthy hails from Nangavaram, Karur district, Tamil Nadu. He has an academic background in engineering and management. He completed mechanical engineering and also did MBA course, followed by LLB and Master of Business Laws. He worked in corporate sector as a consultant and trainer for more than two decades. Later he moved to television as well as new career as a management consultant. Initially he anchored TV shows for Doordarshan in Kannada and Tamil channels, apart from hosting and interviewing people belonging to different sectors and profession.
A self-made man with his own developed techniques, his management courses in "soft skills" are used by 10 engineering colleges and several corporates and organizations. His course curriculum closely matches the typical eight semesters of a full-time engineering course. He wants universities to take initiatives to improve the employability of the lakhs of graduates they churn out every year. He is also a columnist who writes in English and Tamil, apart from doing legal consulting and advising on scripts.
