Shaili Chopra Biography 
Shaili Chopra is a leading female anchor and the senior editor, working at the Economic Times Business News Channel. The 9 pm primetime slot and key interviews are anchored by her. She is one of the popular faces in Indian business journalism. She was born on 21st July in Jalandhar in Punjab. Her parents are Anil Chopra and Suman Chopra. Her father is a pilot in the fighter plane in Indian Air Force holding the rank of Air Marshal.
She completed her schooling at Air Force Golden Jubilee Institute at New Delhi. She finished her Master’s degree in Broadcast and Television in 2002 at The Asian College of Journalism in Chennai. She loves traveling and playing golf. Her poetry and articles are published in Times of India, Indian Express, Pioneer and many other magazines and websites like The South Asian Women’s Forum.
She won many awards that include News Television Award for the Best English Reporter in 2007. She won the Best Show Award for her business golf show, Business on Course. She won the Best Business Anchor award in March 2010 and FICCI Woman Achiever Award. She also covered international events like G-20, India Economic Summit and World Retail Congress. She worked with NDTV 24*7 as the Editor of Market and Corporate Affairs. She also worked as the Senior News Editor – Corporate in NDTV Profit for more than 5 years.
She has interviewed many prominent persons including Nobel Laureate Amartya Sen, Blackrock’s Chairman Larry Fink, Standard Chartered Asi Chief Jaspal Bindra, ICICI’s KV Kamath, Morgan Stanley’s India MD Aisha De Sequeira, PepsiCo Indra Nooyi, Finance Minister P.
