Shabarish Vijayan, better known as Shabarish in Tamil industry is a film actor, notable for playing lead roles. He is the son of noted stunt master, FEFSI Vijayan. He is associated with film scene since 2011. As of now two of his movies are released with Shabarish playing the lead role, and third one is now in filming stage. His released movies are Markandeyan (2011) where he played the titular role of Markandeyan and Pandi Oliperukki Nilayam (2012), for which he played the lead role of Pandi. Asurakulam is his upcoming release. Vidya Pradeep plays the female lead, and the movie is helmed by Vignesh Menon. This action thriller is expected to release soon. The movie was initially announced in 2014.

Shabarish was born on 30 December 1984 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu into a family with filmy background. He is the son of FEFSI Vijayan, stuntman of Tamil cinema. His schooling was completed from Chennai itself and his graduation too. He completed his engineering degree from Sathyabama University before he chose acting as his profession. He was launched to film scene by his father. Markandeyan was his debut flick released in 2011. The movie was written and directed by FEFSI Vijayan himself. Markandeyan opened to negative reviews and was declared a flop.

His second movie was Pandi Oliperukki Nilayam, a rom-com released the following year. Once again he played the lead role. The movie was helmed by Rasu Madhuravan, and Sunaina was casted as female lead. The movie was panned by critics, and the movie sank without any traces. Both these films had low-key release and went unnoticed. Later he took a small break from the industry, and worked on the film, Asurakulam. The movie is waiting for a theatric release.
