Senthil Krishna Biography

Senthil Krishna is a Malayalam film actor best known for supporting and character roles. In 2018 he played the lead role in Chalakkudikkaran Changathi, which brought him to limelight. The film was inspired by the life story of actor Kalabhavan Mani, and Senthil played the lead role Rajamani in this movie. In 2019 he played the comic role of Inspector Balaraman in horror thriller, Aakasha Ganga 2 which earned him accolades. He delivered Thiruvananthapuram dialect with almost perfection, and made this role memorable. A few more popular roles of Sethil are My Great Grandfather, Virus etc. He also appeared in a few TV shows, though his roles are not popular.

 

Senthil Krishna hails from Punnamoodu, near Thiruvananthapuram. He was born on May 25, 1986. He completed his graduation from University College, Thiruvananthapuram. He is married to Akhila since 2019, and the wedding ceremony was conducted at Guruvayur Temple, Thrissur. He started his career as a mimicry artist and standup comedian, associated with amateur stages before he joined acting scene. Many of his early roles were uncredited, such as Gulmohan (2008), Pulliman (2010) etc. It took long years of struggle for Senthil to finally make a mark of his own in Malayalam cinema.

 

After appearing in a few uncredited film roles, he also tried with television serial roles. He was a part of Sthreedhanam serial for four years between 2012 and 2016, where he portrayed the character role of Natholi Nelson. He also played Manjulan for the TV series, Vellanakalude Nadu during 2014 – 2017. As a film actor he got the big break to play a lead role. He had to struggle for years before he made a mark of his own, through the film, Chalakkudykkaran Changathy.
