Sawan Dutta Biography 
Sawan Dutta is a singer, record producer and a vlogger who cooks delicious dishes with music as background. She has released numerous food recipes in the form of music videos, and she pens down those lyrics as well. This unique idea has received a warm welcome from netizens. She posts her videos in ‘The Metronome’ blog, which is popular these days. She is best known for her Bengali cooking videos, preparing several traditional dishes. She has composed music for a couple of Bollywood films apart from numerous TV shows like Kaun Banega Crorepati.
Dutta was born in New Delhi. She started learning harmonium at the age of only 3. She is a self-taught artist of Hawaiian Guitar, a musical instrument which she learnt in her teens. Very soon she became a regular paid performer at the All India Radio Company. Later she studied architecture at School of Planning and Architecture in New Delhi, and in those days she was a member of the musical band The Architypes. During her college days she joined the music band - Indian Ocean as a keyboardist and backup vocalist, thus becoming the only woman artist of the band ever.
Dutta later gained recognition as a successful musician, singer and above all a vlogger with her singing cookery videos. She created music for over 200 TV shows, apart from a couple of Bollywood films - Chai Pani etc (2004) and Mumbai Delhi Mumbai (2014), and also numerous music videos. She has created TV scores for the popular game show, "Kaun Banega Crorepati”, and its Malayalam version, Ningalkkum Aakaam Kodeeshwaran, Mastermind India, Bhanwar, India's Child Genius, Jungle Tales etc. She has also worked in ad industry composing jingles.
