Savitha Reddy Biography

Savitha Reddy is a popular dubbing artist of south Indian cinema who works in the Tamil and Telugu industries. She has also done a few Malayalam movies for Tamil heroines (Tamil language). She made her debut with Jeans lending her voice to Aishwarya Rai's character. She has also done dubbing artist’s job for her recent work in Tamil, Ethiran (2010). She has won Tamil Nadu State Film Awards for Best Female Dubbing Artist for Chandramukhi for Jyothika, Unnakum Ennakum for Trisha, Santosh Subramaniam for Genelia and Priyamanavale for Simran. She has been a popular choice of leading actresses of south like Simran, Aarthi Agarwal, Jyothika and Trishna.

In fact she has been a popular choice of Jyothika for both Tamil and Telugu movies. Perazhagan, Sillunu Oru Kaadhal, Chandramukhi (Tamil and Telugu), 12 B (Tamil and Telugu), Raja, Snegithiye, Rhythm, Poovellam Un Vasam, Little John, Manmadhan, Poovellam Kettuppar, Star, Khushi and Dumm Dumm Dumm are her major works for Jyothika. For Trisha, her major works are Thirupaachi, Bangaram, Manasellam, Unnakum Ennakum, Enakku 20 Unakku 18, Mounam Pesiyadhe and Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana. She has been a popular choice of Simran as well. Panchathanthram, Thulladha Manamum Thullum, Vaali, VIP, Priyamanavale, Time, 12B, Pammal K. Sambandam, Arasu and Ainthaam Padai.

She has also given her voice to many leading actresses on silver screen, particularly from North. She has also rendered her voice for many Malayalam actresses like Asin, Nayantara and Meera Jasmine. Genelia, Bhoomika Chawla, Laila, Aarthi Agarwal, Tamannaah, Vasundra Das, Sada, Sneha, Amala Paul, Hansika Motwani, Aishwarya Rai, Nandita Das, Ileana and Shriya Saran are other big names. Savitha has also done playback singing for a few heroines in Tamil movies, as a part of a team. "Oru Azhagana" of Perazhagan, "Nuvvemmaya Chesavokaani” of Okkadu and "Vaada Maappilley" of Villu are a few such instances.
