Satyam Rajesh Biography

Satyam Rajesh is a south Indian film actor who predominantly works in Telugu films. He earned fame as a comedian, and as of now he has appeared in more than 350 films, playing lead, supporting and comic roles. He received nomination at Nandi Film Award for Best Comedian for 2003 film, Satyam. Since then this actor is known by the name Satyam Rajesh, the role which earned him a lot of recognition. He played lead role Sumanth’s friend in this movie. Since then he received many comic roles, which helped him to earn fame as a successful comedian in Tollywood.

His real name is Rajesh Babu. He hails from Visakhapatnam of Andhra Pradesh, born on April 12, 1973. Currently he is settled in Hyderabad city. His father was a government employee who worked in telecom sector. His mother is a homemaker. Rajesh Babu completed his MBA studies, and also worked in corporate sector for a while before he called it quit. His transfer to Hyderabad proved to be a turning point of his life, when he started appearing in films, and later he decided to become a full-fledged actor.

He tasted success with two back-to-back successes with Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha and Kshanam in 2016 in a supporting role, and his career rose to new heights. Same year he did Telugu-Tamil bilingual comedy horror film, Nayaki, where he appeared in a lead role aside Ganesh Venkatraman and Sushma Raj. But he later told that Nayaki would be his first and last film as a lead role, and he would prefer to continue in comic and supporting roles. Srinivasa Kalyanam, Touch Chesi Chudu, Tholi Prema and Fidaa are some of the releases in the recent times.
