Satyajit Padhye Biography 
Satyajit Padhye is an Indian ventriloquist, puppeteer and puppet maker. He is a third generation ventriloquist. He is the son of Indian ventriloquist, puppeteer and puppet-maker, Ramdas Padhye. His grandfather Yeshwant Keshav Padhye was the pioneering Indian Ventriloquist who started ventriloquism in India in 1920's. Padhye has represented India at the Japan Ventriloquist Festival, held in Tokyo. Padhye is known for his youth-targeted humour.
As a puppet maker he designs and makes his own puppets for scripts and also helps his father in their Puppet Studio. He was a finalist in India's Got Talent, a popular reality show on Colors TV. Padhye with puppet Chotu Singh was invited to join Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 5 to entertain the audience. He has also appeared in Big Bada Boom on the Disney Channel where he operated a puppet called "Bumpy”. ‘A Beautiful Mind’ is his weekly political satire work and it is to be telecasted on online TV channel Nautanki TV. He has also appeared in a puppet film called AIDS - The Deadline for which his own created puppets were used.
Padhye was born on May 5, 1983 in Mumbai. His parents are Ramdas Padhye and Aparna. His mother has been a television host during 1980’s and has been a puppeteer and ventriloquist in skits with her husband. His brother Parikshit is also a puppeteer and ventriloquist. His grandfather Yeshwant Keshav Padhye introduced the art of ventriloquism in India in 1920's. Satyajit got interested in puppetry from childhood and started learning from his father at the age of 8. He performed for first time at the age of 12 at a school gathering. One year later he assisted his father for the play Good Night Baby Dino (1993). Since then, they together have worked in several projects and have been successful. Bollywood movie, Dil Hai Tumhaara is one such instant.
