Satyadeep Mishra Biography

Satyadeep Mishra is an Indian actor associated with Hindi entertainment industry. He appears in Bollywood films and Hindi TV soaps, and mostly plays supporting roles. He was formerly married to popular Bollywood actress, Aditi Rao Hydari. They got married in 2009, and separated in 2013, and still remain good friends. As an actor Mishra is best known for the lead role he played in Phobia opposite Radhika Amte in 2016. Bombay Velvet, Tigers, Ferrari Ki Sawaari, Love Breakups Zindagi, Chillar party, No One Killed Jessica and Turning 30 are other Bollywood appearances.

 

Satyadeep Misra schooled from The Doon School Dehradun and graduated from St Stephens College in Delhi. Later he worked as an IRS officer for less than a year. To pursue his dreams to become an actor, he resigned his job and moved to Mumbai. He made his Bollywood debut with the 2011 super hit film No One Killed Jessica. In the movie he played the role of Rani Mukerji’s boss. Since then he appeared in around 10 Bollywood films. He was formerly married to noted actress Aditi Rao Hydari. Aditi had kept the marriage a secret when she entered movies.

 

Misra made his TV debut with the show ‘Prisoners of War- Bandi Yuddh Ke’ in 2016. The show was aired for two years, and he appeared as Squadron Leader Imaan Khan. In 2018 he marked his web series debut through Smoke, where he appeared as ACP Pereira. The actor says that the mad pace associated with the film industry does not affect him, and he prefers to be Boman Irani, rather than doing SRK because certain amount of stress is associated with being a Shah Rukh Khan. He is considered to be a fine actor. Yet he is not a hot favourite of casting directors. For the same reason he is not much familiar to Bollywood audiences.
