Sarwar Ahuja Biography

Sarwar Ahuja is an Indian television actor associated with Hindi soap dramas. He is best known for winning the first season of the talent show India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj in 2004. He also appears in Bollywood movies, mostly playing supporting roles. He plays Inspector Shaurya in the TV series Hum Ne Li Hai Shapath, the role for which he is known most. He is married to actress Aditi Sharma, who appears in Hindi TV shows and Bollywood films. The duo appeared together for Best Cinestars Ki Khoj in 2004, and won the winner’s trophy too. The real life couple later paired up for a TV show, Ganga, where Aditi played the lead role.

Sarwar Ahuja hails from Hyderabad of present day Telangana. He was born in the year 1980. He earned initial recognition after winning the first season of the talent show India's Best Cinestars Ki Khoj in 2004. He later married his co-star Aditi Sharma. The two met for the first time in the sets of Best Cinestars Ki Khoj, and they also worked together for the movie, Kuch Khatta Kuch Meeta. As a film actor Sarwar got his first break through Khanna and Iyer in 2007. Aditi was also signed for the same film.

Hum Ne Li Hai Shapath marked his television debut in 2012. In between he has done a few bit roles in Bollywood. In fact he gained recognition as a television actor, than a film actor. He played lead role in TV show, Mere papa hero hiralal. Ahuja holds a degree in Marketing. Gym, travelling, badminton and biking are his favourite hobbies, apart from acting. Hrithik Roshan and Madhuri Dixit are his favourite actors. His favourite holiday destination is London.
