Sarfaraz Khan Biography

The 17-year old boy from Mumbai Sarfaraz Khan is the new star in the world of cricket. He came into limelight when not yet 12 playing for Rizvi Springfield School and scoring 439 runs in 421 balls and breaking record of Sachin Tendulkar who had earlier scored 329 not out in an inter school competition. Sarfaraz nawaz was also member of the team that won last cricket world cup under the captaincy of Unmukt Chand in 2012. 
Sarfaraz Khan the youngest player having played in a IPL match has scored 439 runs in Harris Shield match thereby beating Sachin Tendulkar’s record for the highest score in Mumbai’s Inter-school tournament. Sarafaraz Khan is right-hand batsman and he bowls right-arm off break. 
Sarfaraz has shot to instant fame after his swashbuckling show against Rajasthan Royals where he scored 45 off just 21 balls hitting six fours and one six. Later after winning the game the way he was greeted by his captain Virat Kohali and praised by coach VVS Laxman at the end of RCB’s innings speaks of his talent.
His major achievements
Sarafaraz played for Under-19s team India, Team Mumbai, Mumbai Under-19s, Royal Challengers Bangalore (Rs. 50 lacs). Naushad Khan his father who is his coach also is doing his best efforts to improve his batting and make him a better player. Incidentally, his younger brother Musheer Khan is also following him closely. Sarfaraz and Musheer both practice in their own house where their father has laid an Astroturf for the purpose.
